Sunday wasn't a fun day. Kind of

I stayed up late yesterday I'd joined Urban Powwow, an initiative by our seniors wherein seniors who went for internships last year conduct a session and talk about their internships. Basically what the team does is invite seniors to talk and design posters for each session. The next session will be on Tuesday and this time they kind of wanted '19 batch students to make the poster. A friend of mine and I volunteered. We stayed up all night yesterday making the poster and then making tiny tiny changes that our seniors thought should be made. But right from our first draft, everyone liked our poster. People said it was cute and adorable. And I felt really proud. I mean this is the first time I actually volunteered to do something in college and it turns out, I did fine.

The poster we made

Because I stayed up late, I woke up late. By the time I woke up, freshened up and had lunch, it was 1:30 and there were only 2:30 hours till my competition and I wanted to practise. I had exactly the time to make 1 mandala before I had to join the Google Meet of the competition. I think I did fine. I don't know when the results will be out though.

By the time the competition was done, it was 7 and I had 3 pending submissions out of which 2 were due at 9 (and I completely forgot). 1 of the submissions was to interview 10 people from my neighbourhood and prepare a transcript. I forwarded the interviews to a few of my friends. They rose to the occasion and I luckily submitted it before 9. The other one which was also due at 9 was to document a street in my neighbourhood that I thought could be a potential site for a design intervention. I had pictures but I had to put them all together. I thought this could wait as I was about to finish my 3rd submission which was a questionnaire about my city. Only at 9:30, when Srushti called me, did I realize that the site documentation was due at 9. I ended up submitting it my 10:30 (my 2nd late submission). The questionnaire was due at 12 and I submitted it 11.

It was a busy, tiring day. I sat at one place and drew for 4 hours straight. But it also fun. I kind made by dad solve my questionnaire. I mean we did it together. He answered the questions and I typed.
