I'd only finished half my work for the submission. I woke up earlier than I expected. I was kind of worried if I might be able to finish on time. But the first I did after waking up was check my mail and there was a mail from Kiran ma'am. She wanted me to make a few changes which I did just then. I know I know, I should have completed my submission first. After incorporation her feedback, I sent her a mail saying it's done. I immediately got a reply saying ma'am and I need to do some changes together, which we'll do after my submission.
Now about my submission, to be honest I didn't like it. It didn't quite turn up the way I wanted to. But I did my best. And I submitted a minute late. And I didn't feel good about it. One thing that I'd decided when I began the semester was that I'd always submit on time.
15 minutes later, ma'am called and we had a google meet session. We tried some changes and zeroed in on some. Ma'am was pretty much happy with the way everything turned out I guess. Particularly she was happy about my work. She also told me not to share the password and email id with anyone else. She said she and I will be managing the blog. I was in charge. And I was happy about it. I've always liked being assigned responsibilities. Maybe a bit narcissistic, but I like feeling important. I like having something to do.
Mandatory was boring as usual. I was lost right from the beginning. I was talking on the phone with a friend during the entire duration of the class. I know not something to be proud of, but yeah. I was very happy at the end of class. I was done with a week. I could chill for 2 days. There was very little work. 1 mandatory submission and 2 studio submissions, which were chill submissions. I decided to put off submission work till Sunday.
In the meanwhile, I'd signed up for a competition. A mandala art competition conducted by the Diocese (church stuff basically). And I wanted to practise, I wanted to do good work. I practised a mandala and made a timelapse of it. The duration of the competition is 2 hours, but it took me 3 hours. I guess I'll have to practise more tomorrow.
After a lot of back and forth, this is my brainchild https://thefutureofeverydayurbanspaces.blogspot.com
